Guest guest
Hi Dee, I think it is wonderful news that he can hear already. I had my surgery Feb 4 as well and had the packing removed last tuesday and have yet been able to hear out of that ear. Good days are coming I am sure. About the packing. My Dr. did warn me that the packing might come out and it if I noticed it to just push it back in. BUT, I would say only about 2 inches MAX came out and that was it. I have to say though before the packing was removed, I was miserable and so uncomfortable and it was instant relief once he took the packing out. I wish your son a speedy recovery and hope this finds you all well. > Hello everyone. Guest guest
Hello , The packing only measured about an inch or so, could it be possible that there is still more in there? I guess it is possible that only a portion of it fell out. I really don't think he can hear out of that ear yet, but maybe he is feeling a pressure relief. - Dee > > Hello everyone. Guest guest
Hi Dee, I am sure there has to be more packing. But then again I am not a Dr. The reason I say this is when he removed my packing last week, it was almost like it was neverending when it was coming out. Like I said earlier once the packing was removed for me, it was almost instant relief with the pain and pressure. > > > Hello everyone. Guest guest
Hi Dee, I'm sure there is more in there. I think when they packed my ear they used several pieces. Best Wishes, Re: cotton packing fell out by itself !? > Hello , > > The packing only measured about an inch or so, could it be possible > that there is still more in there?
