I have an acquaintance that took her child there and it was very successful. The child had had about 6 surgeries locally with an ENT and the cholesteatoma kept coming back. After going to these doctors in Nashville, she had one additional surgery done there. That was five years ago and has not had a problem since. Unfortunately, I found out about them after my son had already undergone two surgeries by a local ENT. Also after my son had his surgeries they placed a device over his ear called a Glasscock device, according to the surgical report. I was told that Dr. Glasscock developed this device.

Audrey,

Thanks for the info. Have you had

any experience with them?

Check out this website for info on

these doctors in Nashville. They look like some of the best.

Thanks, I am going to ask my ENT to send

me to the Otology Group. It does sound like they are some of the best in

the world.

Audrey, I’ll post my

experiences. I just put in a call to my PCP to get me an out of network

referral so I can go there and be covered.

,

Let me know what you think. My son has to have at

least one more surgery and I was considering going there even though it would

be a 9 hour drive.
