THR: Pain/Movement Questions

Hi everyone. I'm a 41 year old THR(posterior) (7/12/10) I'm 3 weeks out. I

just have some questions on the pain(which I will say is just more

discomfort~not to scare anyone) If I'm not moving, I feel NOTHING~no pain. It's

amazing! But when I move, I can definitely feel it. Certain movements bring

more discomfort than others. I'm doing PT and am just wondering how long this

will last. Also, night time is pretty tough. I just feel like I have to move

because I feel all tight and stiff.

Now, I just want to say that the discomfort is nothing major(I don't want to

paint a negative picture) It is really pretty minor. I was just curious. I

haven't taken anything for the pain(except an occasional Tylenol)for over a

week. That's how minor the pain is. And my range of motion was greatly improved

from day one after the surgery. And now, even more so!
