If you will notice, I hit reply to a digest message, and all the info below my

signature was added to this response.

When you do not take time to " clean your bottoms " . we get distraught

members who leave us, and it could be right when they need us most..!!

I'm not as computer literate as most but I do try to be nice about

keeping junk out of my " reply to " emails.

Oh, and by the way, if you have something negative to say about this post,

please send it to me direct....we need to keep our list as clean and up beat

as possible.  Negative replies on list only feed the pain most of our members

are already having, lets don't add to the misery.

In some groups in which I've participated, the facilitator suggests that each of

us " speak from the 'I'. " As in " this is what I experienced " " if I were in that

situation, I would / might... " " from my research, I concluded... " etc. That way

no participant feels instructed or perceives others as experts. Group members

share their wealth of experience.I' ve found doing this this more difficult than

it may read. But I've found it very helpful in group discussions. This group is

a wonderful resource. But what's right for me may not work for another. So many

members with different medical & psychosocial situations. When I read a post

with many words in caps, I often feel like I'm being instructed. Become

concerned that someone is in my face. I may react to the loud words, rather than

absorbing important information. I've learned much from this group. I hope it

lasts. Speaking only for myself.
