Guest guest
I wrote to the list about two weeks ago lamenting my lack of energy and several of you sent very nice replies. Thanks. This past Monday was my 10 week post-op point and suddenly I found I was becoming pain free, except for a twinge now and then. I still have to pace myself with exercising (aquatics or walking) or other activities but I feel I'm almost there. This is good because I'm having my other knee replaced on Nov. 2. It's as bad as the right one was so it was a toss-up as to which should be done first. At least this time I have a much better idea of what to expect. I don't like the idea of going through that again but I know I must, so the sooner it's over with, the better. Already, my operated knee feels much better than the other one.Getting both knees done at the same time was never a consideration. I'd love to hear from those of you who've had TKRs separately, but close together. My interval will be just over three months. oneSearch: Finally, mobile search that gives answers, not web links.
