What is the MIS procedure?

I found this web site describing the differences between MIS and what I'll

call traditional. At least regarding knees, MIS is not always a solution for

those needing full knee replacement.

Interesting read - maybe when my left knee needs replaced I'll be a

candidate for MIS.
