hip dislocation after 18 months

Hi

I have not posted here for a while as all was going well after my LTHR in Feb

2009. However, last week my replaced hip suddenly dislocated, with no warning,

whilst putting ironing in wardrobe. Nothing strenuous or injury.

I am 41, I work as a community nurse, and have been exercising

(walking/swimming). It was put back in place in theatre, and I am back on

crutches. I am to see my surgeon on Friday as an outpatient who will hopefully

give me some answers.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? And if so what was

the recovery time and advice?
