Walking a mile

I hope that's a mile on a treadmill. I've never used a treadmill, so it

must be different, but I'm six months post-surgery on knee replacement

and I couldn't walk a mile to this day. When I was about three months

post surgery, I actually walked around one whole city block, and was

darned glad to get back to my car. I still keep a cane in the car with

me.

Every case is different. My second night post-surgery was really

miserable. By then, fortunately, I could get out of bed to use the bed-

side commode, but I was also nauseaos and had a worrisome temperature

spike. If I'd been at my daughter's house, I would have kept everyone

up all night to care for me.
