Guest guest
Pat, to me it feels better above 90 degrees than below zero. We are heading into our winter hmmnn you guys in the US would say what winter, but when it is over 90 degrees anything below 70 feels cold. We are all different I know, but if I am cold I just want to sit and vegetate in front of the TV but when the sun is shining the sky is blue, I am full of energy and raring to go, remember of course that all our shops are air conditioned, oh and I prefer to go to hydro after a joint replacement in the warm rather than the cold especially if its a shoulder as getting dressed isn't a 2 minute process is it Jeff? hee hee. Oh yes and I have to take antibiotics for the rest of my life too.... I had encephalitis in 1998 and I was so lucky that I didn't loose any of my 5 joint replacements. So thankful for that.had drains coming out of my skull to remove pus, could have been a different story. Nice to chat x -- Re: [Norton AntiSpam]Re: Antibiotics before Dental Work I was also told that I would have to take a large dose of antibiotics before any invasive surgery or dental work for the rest of my life. When I asked why, I was told that if you get an infection in the blood stream, it will go right to the replacement joint. (thinking it was something that did not belong in the body) If you do get a bad infection in the joint it will most likely have to be removed. I myself, would prefer not to have that happen so I guess I will follow doctor's orders. Funny story about the swim noodles. We rarely get to the low 90's in northeast Pa. I cannot imagine what 120 would feel like. Pat Tyler Hill, Pa. ------------------------------------

Guest guest
, That shows you how we all get used to our own weather. I am most happy with temperatures in the 60's and 70's. Anything over 80 feels hot to me. But then again, we go down to the single digits and even below 0 in the winter here so I get excited when we go up into the 30's even. LOL You have had 5 joint replacements? wow! You must be very knowledgeable about them then. Hope you are doing well. Guest guest
Pat Hi. Yes we are all acclimatized in our own ways hey I am freezing below 70 degrees. Put socks on heater in the bathroom etc. Yes I have had 5 joints done but a total of 12 replacements all up including revisions. -- Re: Antibiotics before Dental Work and also winter. , That shows you how we all get used to our own weather.
