Guest guest
I’m posting for a good friend who lives in metro Detroit and needs a knee replaced. This 78-year-old choir conductor had a shoulder replaced in 2002 and looks and acts like a man 30 years younger. He conducts multiple choirs, works out daily, and has a healthy lifestyle. One knee has become increasingly sore in recent years which makes walking, stairs, and standing for long lengths of time very painful. The knee cartilage is gone and injections haven’t helped. We’re looking for a surgeon in SE Michigan who has performed a high number of successful knee replacements. My friend has HAP insurance associated with Henry Ford Hospitals and his PCP has referred him to Dr. Demers of Associated Orthopedists Detroit located in St. Clair Shores MI. We would appreciate recommendations from members of this forum for surgeons in SE MI, particularly those associated with Henry Ford as well as from any members with experience with Dr. Demers. Thanks to all. Pete
