Guest guest
>>>>I am 60 and do have a little dysplasia but not enough for a PAO<<<< I am 70 and was recently glad to find out that my thought that I might have had a congenital hip (shallowness) is totally unfounded. My hips are congenitally normal doc said. He said my present problems with apparent dislocation this past month is due to my osteoarthritis eating away some of my normal joint area. And I suppose my tendency for tendonitis or my tendecy to be limber or have limber tendons and ligaments doesn't help my present issue much either right now. So I guess it is simply my own knowledge about my easy tendency for tendonitis due to my more than usual limber/flexible tendons and ligaments which I fear might make me more prone to dislocation and is why I am planning ahead and being so careful or concerning about my furniture and commode and bed heights. At least until I heal all that needs healing is back to it's normal happy well fitting and secure self again. (high hopes here huh?)
