I eat virtually all my food raw, > Yes, frying eggs we destroy some nutrients but that's not the real issue. The real issue is that heating oil to the point of frying generates free radicals. If you want an egg, boil it by all means or poach it. I love a boiled egg -- hard-boiled or soft-boiled. But I love my egg best raw. Don't be frightened by warnings that raw egg white destroys biotin. That applies only to raw egg white consumed in isolation. The yolk of the whole egg contains enough biotin to cancel any such risk. Why fry at all? I never fry -- not eggs, not meat, not vegetables. As you can condition your taste buds to like what's not good for you, you can recondition them to like what's good for you. The more raw, the better. True, certain vegetables such as carrots yield more of their nutritional goodness if at least steemed cuz the human digestive system cannot digest the fiber in them. But you can cheat nature by breaking the fiber with a hand blender making those vegetables into readily digested smoothies. Animals in the wild, who haven't learned how to cook, don't get sick. They grow old and, when their time is up, to go to sleep one night not to wake up the next morning. That is wild animals that live in a wild environment that has not been ruined by man.
