Lana,

I too am thin and there is no way you can see the rods, top or bottom of them

when I bend over or otherwise. Their placement is alongside the vertabrae, not

on top of it. Good luck, Krysi

Having surgery

Hi!

I just wanted to say that I'll be thinking of you all while I'm in the

hospital. My surgery is at 7am tomorrow morning. I have to be at the hospital

at 5:30 am. AND, I am NOT a " morning person. " So, this is going to be fun

right from the start. Will probably be in 7-10 days (hopefully less, I hate

hospital beds!).

I'm going to change my preferences to list (or whatever) instead of daily

emails (or you guys would shut down and crash my computer with just your emails

alone!!! LOL!!).

Take care....I'll let you know when I get back. BTW, I'll be at the

University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI

53792. I think I'll be on the third floor, but things can change.

Keep me in your hearts.

Luv,

Jul

I hope that your surgery goes very well and we do see you back here soon.

P.S. I hate hospital beds too. They should make them comfy!

Depends on the magnitude of the surgery. I just had surgery last

Tuesday, one week ago today, and other than a little soreness I feel

pretty normal. My surgery was 4 hours. I was pretty tired and a

little dizzy for a few days.

20 years ago I remember it being much worse, but anathesias (sp?)

have gotten much better - and my earlier operation was more invasive -

radical mastoidectomy.

Best of luck Friday!

Bob
