Guest guest Posted June 25, 2007 Report Share Posted June 25, 2007 I just joined the group yesterday. I had a Workman's compensation accident to my knee about 5 years ago. Last Thursday my sports doctor gave me some choices to help with the pain I have in my injured left knee. First I can have cortisone shots, but I am already on a med that thins the bones. Second choice would be another brace and the last option would be a total knee replacement. But without the approval of my liver transplant team he is not wanting to do the replacement.
