Questions for THR's

My THR is around the corner and I am what you call 'slightly nervous.'

I just wish there were more THR members posting?

Could there be a different THR support group that I am not aware of?

I have so many questions.

One of the burning questions I have is, how does one know whether or NOT

they might be a candidate for resurfacing?

At what point is one no longer a candidate for resurfacing? What are the

specfics that eliminate one from a resurface?

Although I was told by my OS (who I think is great) that I am not a

candidate, he doesn't do resurfacings either, just THR's.

Many resurfaced hippies are saying THR's aren't a good idea if one is a

candidate for resurfacing and that most THR docs don't offer the option or

let you know if you are a candidate for resurfacing.

Is anyone ever concerned about having to have a revision sooner or later if

they have had a THR, and that if one is resurfaced the a revision to a later

THR is a better option? Revisions sound somewhat gruesome. Or, do I have

that wrong? And what are your ideas on that?

Can anyone help?
