Guest guest Posted September 19, 2007 Report Share Posted September 19, 2007 Greetings, I had THR on sept 7th on the left hip, went in today, got staples out (thank goodness) and Dr released me to walk without crutches as much as I felt comfortable in doing so. if I go outside or long distances, then I am to take my crutches for safety. I have been on no pain pills, other than at night when I go to bed, and I really don't need them at that time. I am amazed on how it feels, it is great to walk with no pain, and surprised that I can walk so soon without any support...... love to hear from others.
