Guest guest
Hi, I'm trying to get some infomation about supplementing a two and a half year old with coconut oil while breastfeeding. We are both on the candida diet and the recommended protocol to kill yeast is 1 1/2 tblsp daily for an infant or small child. I wonder if it's necessary to give her the c.o. since she is breastfeeding and because it already has high amounts of lauric & capyrilic acid to kill yeast. I am currently taking 2 tblsp a day and I'm assuming that would increase the amount in my breastmilk as well. Also, what is the recommended therapeutic dose that Bruce Fife recommends for someone who has candida. I know that the book says 2-4 tblsp a day but would someone with candida take more? The recommended protocol for the candida diet I'm on is 6 tblsp and that seems like a lot for someone who is only 110 lbs. not to mention that I'm only able to tolerat 2 tblsp a day due to the die-off. If anyone could help me with this informaton, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
