Guest guest
Hi a, I'm sorry you are having such a hard time,,, I know the feeling, cortisone never helped my knees. Have you tried the Synvisc injections? I wore a brace on my worst knee for awhile the just shifted the weight somewhat, while I was buying time. I finally had both replaced last August and am glad I did now. My recumbent bike helped me to get the exercise in without weight bearing.(pre-op) and strengthen my quads and prepare the muscles for surgery. Have you tried NSAIDS? Hang in there . I am 45 and because of family situations and my job I have to wait till June. I had a cortisone shot in my L knee last month and will have one in the R knee next week. So far he sho has only helped a little and the OTC meds haven't helped and neither has Lortabs. I really need to find a pain med or anything else that will buy me some time. The dr. says both knees are bone on bone and boy does feel like it, some days I barely function. Any med suggestions or other ideas would be a big help. alexa_____________________________________________________________ Orchard Bank MasterCardGet your credit on track with an Orchard Bank MasterCard
