Guest guest
Hi Kim, I've been on the cpm machine twice. Both after ACL reconstructions. The cpm moves your leg in a slow circle. This is suppose to keep swelling down and keep your knee from freezing up I guess. I found it to be agonizining after about 30 min. When I had my surgeries the OS wanted me on it for most of the day... I did it but it wasn't easy. Sorry to say.... Guest guest
I loved the CPM machine. I used it in the hospital a great deal, even slept in it. I found my knee was less painful when it kept moving. It was a little awkward to be sure, particularly for someone with short legs, like me, but it was really effective.
