Guest guest
One doc told me 6 years ago to come back to get the knee (bone on bone) replaced " anytime the pain became too unbearable " . I was 64 and same wt then and wt loss was not mentioned then as a qualifying criteria but it WAS when I finally went in to receive that promise of the new knee. Suddenly all had changed and it was no surgery being offerred and going to cost me 50 lbs of wt loss and if not then the only option would be some non surgical options (office injections and/or another trip to physical therapy). Well I was already in a personal wt loss plan and starting to have pretty much luck and not being all that happy with a promise to me broken, I just moved on and " went my own way " so to speak.
