Guest guest
Sorry I forgot to say that because there is no tendon there for you to be able to raise your arm, the reverse shoulder replaces this tenon by you using your biceps to raise your arm instead of the rotator cuff, actually I think it biceps. it might be another muscle group. Which is why surgeons say its not as easy to recover from as you have no tendons to work with. its not a common operation. -- Re: sorry jeff and reverse shoulder.for Barb. I know I am being dense, , but why would you want your ball/socket arrangement to be reversed? How does it work? BARB Re: new here Jeff, if you are so inclined will you explain the difference in a shoulder replacement and a reverse shoulder replacement?
