A friend who is a pediatritric pulmonologist and teaches has found

Vitamin D3 " almost a wonder drug " . Also, my allergies and asthma went

away once on enough thyroid medication (google Dr Derry).

" DH was told last winter that his asthma was probably a result of

" silent

reflux " (since they can't find any other cause--yet) and was put on a

PPI which disagreed badly. He was then told to take Zantac.

Two weeks later (around Feb-March 2010) the NEJM came out with a study

refuting ANY connection to " silent reflux " and ANY breathing problem at

all.

Two weeks after that The Cleveland Clinic also declared that there was

no connection.

Zantac and it's relatives went into the trash. DH is still trying to get

his old 'normal' digestion to work (HCL is also bothering him--but we'll

get there)
