Hi,

Have anyone read the book " Autism: Behavior-analytic perspectives " by

Ghezzi, P. M., , W. L., & Carr, J. E.? I know that there's a

chapter by S & P - The Need for Both Discrete Trial and Natural Environment

Language Training for Children With Autism.

I am pretty sure it is the same chapter found in the S/P book. I remember

seeing something in their website about a chapter of their book being

included in somebody else's literature.

All the best!

Hi Tom

Really enjoyed your last 2 books. My daughter Chrissy who just

turned 23 this month was dx'd back in June 04. She started LDN day 1

and was been going to an alternative MD who has been treating her

Epstiens Bar among other things. She is doing great. I dont know if

this fits in with what you are trying to capture in your book but

its very positive and very pro LDN. She had no new progresion in her

last MRI and is in school going for her Masters. If you are

interested she would surly want to chat with you. By the way we both

truly value your opinions and read all you emails. Thanks so much

for all the help you've given us without even knowing it.

Lee

The normal toilet experience is often a challenge for MSers. Even when ambulatory often our muscles do not work well, so elimination has its challenges. Can't go, can't not go. This has a profound effect on your emotions.

Dear Tom,

I am a new discoverer of LDN and have just sent a message to the group about my clinic, the Beechwold Clinic. You might find my website interesting for your book - drrichardsimmons.com. It will tell you about a book I have promoted (and contributed to) on talk radio called The Encyclopedia of Medical Breakthroughs and Forbidden Treatments.

Hi Lee,

Thank you for your kind words. The book is about many of the situations and

problems associated with ms that folks just don't talk about.. I am

attempting to discuss these circumstances with a bit of humor and at the

same time to illustrate the seriousness of what are non-humorous troubles.

Your thoughts are most welcome.

Dr. ,

Thank you for the "Heads Up", your site is VERY interesting. I personally believe that ms is a "Leaky Gut" and allergy problem. Might be triggered by stress or some sort of trauma.

If there is anything I can do to help from the perspective of a

mother with a 16 year old son with MS, I will be happy to help. My

son might become involved if we asked him. I'm sure he would have

different views than others, considering his age. I hope to get my

hands on your last book soon and read it. Take care!

Hi Tom

I beleive the same thing. Allergy and leaky gut. Funny how great minds join together. Too bad we didn't realize this before we got like this.

Have a great day. Oh by the way, we in Braintree got 27 inches of snow but the Cape got more. We are also getting 4 to 8 more inches tomorrow.

I used to think allergy and leaky gut. Now I think we have multiple causes. I don't think it is just a random immune system run amok though.

Hi All,

Seven or eight months ago several ms'er's asked me to write a book about the things we don't talk about. You know... some of the private difficulties that we with ms live with. I could not absorb the cost because I had already sent about $10,000. of free books to ms'er's.

I asked if there was interest but this time the book would have to be paid for due to the cost. Well I wrote the book, "The Things That We Don't Talk About..Or..You Better Smile Through the Tears" spent another $5600.00 and it is here. So far only have 11 orders.

Help me out folks, the book is ready to be sent. www.copingandprevailing

Just add the .com at the end and should work fine.

Hi ,

My husband is from Bergen County in New Jersey. He has 10 siblings and one

of his siblings also has MS. He has been on a chat board with another person

also from Bergen County. Is there a high concentration of MS cases from

there? Also it might be a sign of the time. They were bottle fed. He had

mono as a teenager. Maybe his sister had it without knowing. Anyways stress

definitely brought it on. He is not a stressed person at all. But he had a

whole month of unrelenting stress just prior to starting symptoms.

Hi Aletha ... I think that MS is prevalent in NJ but I don't have

exact numbers. I want facts for the newspaper. I will call the MS

society and see if they can help. I have no doubt that stress is a

major contributing factor to MS but only triggers MS if the person is

genetically prone to getting it. Mono as a teenager is also common in

people with MS and many other autoimmune disease.
