Guest guest Posted June 3, 2010 Report Share Posted June 3, 2010 Yes Barb, my O/S does use this wedge, and when I went home I placed a pillow lengthwise in between my legs. -- Re: Question about hip replacement Lynn, it is a booklet from Krames Patient Education titled " Total Hip Replacement--Returning to Movement. " It says that " a foam wedge, a brace, or pillows may be used to keep your new hip in place during early healing. " It shows a huge foam wedge placed between the legs. The legs are strapped to the wedge so to hold them in one position. I have been told my OS uses this wedge. Any others of you heard about this wedge?
