Read more at: http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/563236 I have a personal opinion about this. They say the same about THR's not needing physio after release from hospital. So I had only 3 visits prescribed, and only one was after I was fully weightbearing. I believe part of the problem with my recovery was a severe lack of physio.
