Joan:

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I tried a colonic irrigation (my integrative

medicine dr. has a naturopath that does this) and he couldn't insert the tube! I

was recovering from an anal fissure and I screamed when the tube was just

starting in--apparently, I am a real " tight'a## " (my kids could have told me

that) Would the probiotic implant work minus the irrigation?

Thansk

I am not pitching these probiotics, but rather posting for Laurie to read about

implanting....Joan

                                    BioCare Implant - High Strength Probiotic -

20g Powderfrom BioCare

Implant

is a high strength probiotic bacterial culture product containing a

range of bacteria that normally reside in the healthy colon and provide

lactic acid. Bacteria are essential for the maintenance of bowel

function and help reduce the proliferation of opportunistic bacteria

and yeast.

Following colonic irrigation the bowel is denuded of

its complement of essential bacteria. This needs to be replaced rapidly

so as to reduce the possibility of an overgrowth of undesirable or

opportunistic unfriendly organisms.

Features of Implant:

Implant is a single use, 20 gram dose of probiotics that can be used as a

complement to colonic hydrotherapy;

It provides human compatible, acid tolerant adhesion strains

of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium which are resident

organisms normally found in a healthy human intestinal tract;

Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium help to reduce

the colonisation of unfriendly bacteria by producing natural antibiotic

substances on the intestinal wall;

Lactobacillus casei and Bifidobacterium longum are transitory

organisms that exert a positive influence on the intestinal tract by

lowering the pH by increased production of lactic acid.

      -I think I've lost a lot of your info-what exactly have you been

doing? I

understand that you've been fasting, but what is " biofilm " coming out? And what

is " implanting probiotics " (I know what probiotics are, but it's the implanting

that confuses me--seems like Star Trek)

Sorry to be ingnorant!

Laurie
