Guest guest
Can anyone help me with this: I have restless legs-syndrome. How does this effect the healing from TKR??? This problem is getting worse now, as I'm not taking any sleeping pills. Maybe I should get back on them before the operation...Just wouldn't like to do so. Guest guest
My friend has this and takes the medication for it.She had a hip replacement and had no issues.I would suggest asking for the medication at least until you recover.Begin forwarded message:From: Maarit <mervi111@...>Date: September 18, 2007 2:13:01 PM PDTJoint Replacement Subject: Restless legs...Reply-Joint Replacement Can anyone help me with this: I have restless legs-syndrome. Guest guest
Yes there is a medication that is specifically helpful for this. You should ask your doctor for it anyway if the problem causes you discomfort -- surgery or no surgery. On Sep 19, 2007, at 1:00 AM, Maarit wrote:Is there a medication that helps? Guest guest
It obviously helps some people, but most people get no help. Maybe I should give it a try! Guest guest
Was it difficult to cope with the RLS on the first days after surgery?
