Debi, I had a THR on 11.11.10.......what kind of a hip cannot dislocate?

Just for future reference in case something happens down the road.

Hip revision tomorrow 2/9/11

Last I spoke with you I was at my dd and had dislocated my left hip for the

2nd time(LHR 12/22/09. 1st dislocated 1/31/10). It took me 5 weeks to get

an appt. with my OS- that appt. was on 1/6/11. The decision was made for

revision and the soonest opening for surgery was 2/9. My hip has felt so

unstable since I dislocated it last fall!!! Waiting for this revision has

been awful........then on Sunday, 1/30/11, I dislocated it my 3rd time- just

sitting on the couch.

My OS is going to replace my faulty hip with a hip that will not be able to

dislocate.....cannot happen soon enough!
