Guest guest
hi friends, i'm scheduled for a right reverse shoulder replacement on wednesday of this week, the 6th. and was wondering about what benefits are available through medicare. i have been on medicare for some time now due to disability but was also covered uner my wife's private insurance and only used mediare as secondary. i just dropped the private coverage and am strictly using medicare now plus a supplemntal policy sold by aarp. does anyone know if i am able to get a home aid after the surgery? my wife will take some time off from work but will need to go to her office for some amount of time and i imagine for the first few weeks i won't be able to do much for myself. as it is i can't do too much for myself now because of lack of rom and pain. as soon as possible after the right one heals i need to have the left one done as well. thanks, jeff
