THR -- how long does the swelling around incision last?

Hi,

This is my first post here. I just had a total hip replacement just about a

month ago. I still have areas of swelling around the incision. It's about an

inch thick at worst and covers under 10 sq inches. The swelling has improved

since the surgery, but lately, I am not seeing much change. I know this takes

time to improve. I am just curious on how much time and what others'

experiences have been?
