But, I have a friend who has lost lots of weight, is likely anemic, cannot digest red meats and is generally in need of some concentrated attention. I suggested coconut oil to begin with - will it have a weight-gain effect on someone who needs it? I'm assuming it will. Any other thoughts on trying to get this wonderful friend back to good health? She'll be in the states from May thru August and then goes back to the impoverished land in which she ministers. Thanks in advance for any help!
