Guest guest
Worser and worser as Alice said. I will pray for her, for what that is worth. Joan ________________________________ From: Waspe <mary.waspe@...> Joint Replacement Sent: Sat, October 30, 2010 6:30:43 PM Subject: Young girl with b cancer that's right Joan, and also this poor girl is facing may be not ever having children due to the chemo, Never having the option to breast feed. She has beautiful long hair and as a young girl that's a very big deal Then to top it all off they found evidence of it in her lymph nodes. So she has to go back and get them removed When they did the special dye thing to see if the nodes were affected they appeared clear but at pathology they found some changes. I keep feeling sorry for her not thinking what her poor mother is going through, she has a younger sister, who will also have to Be tested for the gene, She is the youngest girl this hospital has ever had. x -- Re: next Joint booked in , so are so right. We have to go through a lot with our replacements, but it gives us back our lives. That poor girl! Life isn't fair, as we all know. Guest guest
Has her doctor discussed freezing eggs or ovarian tissue with her? I'm not sure about Sydney but there is a fertility clinic in Brisbane which has had quite a number of frozen-egg babies and Melbourne IVF where I go has had 2. Guest guest
Yes I think so, they are worried about her hormonal state as the cancer has something to do with that. I think normally they make you produce as many eggs as they can for retrieval but I don't think they want to Do this to her since the lymph nodes are affected, but it is something being considered she is in country NSW And will be going to Sydney I think.. Thanks for the info. -- Re: Young girl with b cancer Has her doctor discussed freezing eggs or ovarian tissue with her?
