I don't know much about collagenous colitis, but I take 3 tablespoons a day and

it has been extremely beneficial for my ulcerative colitis.  I started with 1

tsp a day and gradually worked up to 3T.  It is one of the best things that has

helped.  The other is soluble fiber (psyllium husk fiber).

Oh and the other thing that really helps is probiotics.  It is almost like I

don't have UC anymore.

Thank you all, I don't have it but my fellow colleague is suffering and meds

aren't helping her much. I'll pass along some suggestions to see if anything

helps. Jen
