Guest guest
Thanks Jackie. Wise words and deeds, for certain! I have sitting right here on my desk, a beautifully faceted cut glass heart. Now when I look at it, and hold it, I will remember and embrace your words of wisdom. She said I was a star for working so hard on my rehab. I about rubbed that away on the hard days. It really meant a lot to me to have it. Turns out that I had given it to her 4 years ago when she was rehabbing from her knee surgery! I highly recommend having something like that to hold onto when the going gets rough, a reminder that we can get through it, that we have the strength and the determination, and the courage to do our work. And a reminder of the rewards at the end of the day ‹ a greatly improved quality of life! So I say go to the Emerald City at your nearest mall and get yourself a medal to remind you of the courage that lives in your heart. With you in spirit! That heart will be so powerful that it will get you through anything! Alice in Boulder
