Aqua went okay without prescription drugs. Stopped at local library

to check out " Total Knee Replacement " book. So wish I knew about that

book prior to my surgery. Never in my wildest dreams would I think I

would still be having issues six weeks postop, but I am. And this

book would have been a wonderful resource. Anyone not yet having

surgery should go find a copy. Well worth it.

Came home and a bit nervous, as I was getting really stiff. Why does

humidity affect joints? It is raining here in Minnesota and I seem to

stiffen up even more when it is humid. I had a lot of trouble getting

out of the car. My legs and feet are so darn long that I am at the

limit on how far I can move seats back. My hubby is shorter, and one

time commented to just move the seat back and stretch out. The seat

was back all the way! No room. So like I said, nervous getting out.

Panicked a bit, but eventually got out.

Came inside and immediately sat (not lay) on the bed with my legs

hanging. Doing the push back, but stiff still. Took my meds, and

hoping a bit of relief soon.

Why is it most times my knee gets stiff within minutes of inactivity?

This happens most of the time. Every once in a while there is less

stiffness. I get so excited by that. Recovering? I hope.

Tomorrow is PT again. Still at 90 degrees as of Monday. Hoping it is

past that now. Otherwise wondering what OS will say at Monday's

appointment.
