Guest guest
I have a lady friend who is wracked by dry coughing on a daily basis. She is a late onset allergy victim - she has various medicines and they help - if she remembers to take them :-) 2010/7/5 omkalachakra <dharmagirl@...> > Hi everyone... > > I've had a dry cough for a couple weeks now, and wonder if anyone could > recommend a treatment for it. I've had a dry cough for a couple weeks now, and wonder if anyone could recommend a treatment for it. It is mostly nonproductive -- very little phlegm. But it is very worrisome and uncomfortable. It started as a dry feeling in the back of my throat. To date, I have taken cough drops and Nyquil to help me rest at night. I would like to apply some kind of poultice to help my lungs heal. Any recommendations? Thanks, Sherry
Guest guest
I used to have dry irritated throat. Once I began drinking whey protein isolate, my mucous levels went up, so irritations from second-hand smoke, car exhaust, etc. are much more easily dealt with because the phlegm moves it out. Guest guest
Just a suggestion that I have found very helpful: Gargle with Colloidal Silver (EIS) and spray into nose while breathing in, drawing it well down into the lungs. You can do this several times a day. Cheers, Doug treatment for dry cough Hi everyone... I've had a dry cough for a couple weeks now, and wonder if anyone could recommend a treatment for it. Guest guest
Aren't you assuming the dry cough is caused by an invading organism? That is not always the case. Guest guest
What about homeopathic remedies like Belladonna, Sulphur Phosphorous, Rhus Toxicodedron etc. Google abc homeopathy and you will get a free screening (questionnaire)that will give the remedies most likely to help most with your situation. Their program works fairly good. Very safe, efficient and extremely inexpensive. I have always used homeopathy for myself over the years with a great degree of success. It works best away from alcohol. smoking, medicines. Also take well before or after meals, snacks and coffee or other drinks. Water is ok.
