Antibiotics - Type and Term

Hello all,

It has been eight months since my bilateral THR and it is time to have my teeth

cleaned. I know it has been discussed on the list several times about what

antibiotics to take and I did make notes.

On thing which I don't remember seeing was how long do I take the antibiotics.

I know that they are to be taken one hour before cleaning but do you continue

taking them for a period of time or is it just the one dose before cleaning?

Also a reiteration of the types/names of the antibiotics and the strength would

be appreciated.
