Any journals of veterinary medicine addressing vco & cats w/liver+pancreas

disorders?

Wondering if its safe for my 19.5 yr old cat who has 1 kidney, a cancerous tumor

on the liver, diabetes, anemia and pancreatitis.

He gets constipation and I'd like to use it to help him, but fear it may trigger

pancreatitis attacks. I realize it doesn't do this in humans, but cat

physiology can be quite different in how they metabolize.

Any help/articles,etc would be welcomed.

Thank you
