Guest guest
Lynn, do you live in the U.S.? This pillow is pictured in the pamphlet describing a hip replacement that is at my OS office. I thought it was standard. Guest guest
Yes, I do...I'm in Northern Virginia. It was never talked about in the pre-op class, doc's office, and none of the other folks in my area mentioned it. Guest guest
Lynn, it is a booklet from Krames Patient Education titled " Total Hip Replacement--Returning to Movement. " It says that " a foam wedge, a brace, or pillows may be used to keep your new hip in place during early healing. " It shows a huge foam wedge placed between the legs. The legs are strapped to the wedge so to hold them in one position. I have been told my OS uses this wedge. Any others of you heard about this wedge? Guest guest
I had this wedge in the hospital for the first day or two but never after that at re-hab or at home. ----- Original Message ----- From: " BARB " <barbmch@...> > Lynn, it is a booklet from Krames Patient Education > titled " Total Hip Replacement--Returning to Movement.
