Guest guest
I'm asking this question because I like to worry...actually, I had a sed rate blood test done as part of a whole slew of tests ordered by my rheumatologist. It was 104, over the years it's been quite low. So, we're repeating it, but she said if it's still high, then we bring the ortho surgeon into the picture to figure out if my THR is infected. I don't have a lot of pain in the new joint and am 4 months down the road, I have auto immune issues, tho, so you have to wonder if this is affecting or permitting an infection. Just wondering how the infection feels and was handled. What I've read is a little scary...removing the implant, if necessary...but I thought I'd try to be prepared to ask questions of my docs. Many thanks, Lynn LTHR 26 Oct 09 Dr. E. Rabbitt What other people think of me is none of my business!
