Alison, a caution on Bee Wilder's advice: don't question her gobledygook or

sometimes harmfully inaccurate information or you will be banned. Bee is a

megalomaniac with operational similarities derived from the scientology cult

she's a member of.

Several of our members, the curingcandida group owner, myself, and the

candidaisis group moderator have left comments about Bee Wilder's misinformation

on the list on my comments page:

http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/comments.html

Bee's wholesale theft and misuse of website material written by the moderator of

the curingcandida group Debbie Padilla-Hudson has also been discussed at length.

Curingcandida:

I suggest that people should bring questions to curingcandida or the candidaisis

group, where they will be answered honestly. Candidiasis:

Duncan,

Scientology is a religion not a cult.  This list is not here to bash religions

and people's beliefs.  And, FYI, Ms. Wilder is not an active member of the

Church and her operational policies are NOT reflective of the policies of the

Church of Scientology, far from it.  If you had even a smidgen of data about

the Church of Scientology you would now that.

Get the facts before you start bashing.

Let's put Scientology aside. Whether Scientology is a cult or a

religion is not really germaine to this list.

But what of Duncan's allegation that Bee will ban someone for

questioning her information? What of Duncan's allegation that her

information is misinformation? What about Duncan's allegation that

Bee has engaged in wholesale theft and misuse of website material

written by the moderator of the curingcandida group?

Duncan gave links to other groups, so it seems to me that verification

of Duncan's claims can be obtained.

Sure seems to me I would want to check very carefully into Bee's

protocol before I adopted any of it.

Sorry if I offended anyone, but for the record " Scientology Cult " was the

legally correct term for a Canadian to write. I see nothing wrong with having

cult status; might even be cool :) Smidgen of data; a WIKI with no (cite needed)

Alobar,

Bashing of someones religion is not OK and VERY, VERY relevant!

If you would read what I stated, (if that isn't too much to ask), I was not

defending Ms Wilder.  She is a ruthless, ill informed, mercenary sociopath.

To compare her operational policies to the policies of the Church of

Scientology is ill informed and mean-spirited (two virtues I have seen Duncan

demonstrate before).

It's fine to defend points of view, but not at the cost of recklessly defaming

a religion.  I know it's not popular to stand up for religion, but it's

something, I believe, one must do.

If you will re-read my post, I wrote

" Let's put Scientology aside. Whether Scientology is a cult or a

I never defend religion. I have no use for organized religion. But I

will not defame religion on this list. Religion is simply off-topic.

I guess you didn't read my post.  I wasn't accusing YOU of bashing the Church

of Scientology.

Duncan is the the one that defamed the Church of Scientolgoy, I never said you

As defined by Webster's Dictionary, a " cult " is:

n. a system of religious worship.

As such, all organized religions are cults. All of them indoctrinating their own

particular brand of dogma (love the film!) to those who wish to be swayed (or

" contaminated " as others may look at it).

The Catholic Church is a cult. Mormonism is a cult. And, it also follows that,

being a particularly unique manifestation of religious worship, so is

Scientology.

The word, however, is in the public consciousness as a slanderous term. It is,

by definition, not. (Although my Mormon brother still shudders when I refer to

his organization as one.)

It would be like using the word, " niggard " .

It only means " selfish person " . But don't count on the open-mindedness of anyone

ignorant of that meaning! lol!
