On Dec. 24, I had increased swelling and it got to the point that I could not walk. My wife called an ambulance and I went to emergency and was admitted. The orthopedic surgeon did a few blood tests and determined that there was no infection but rather a fluid build up. He did a local anesthetic and aspirated the knee (about 40 ml of blood). He figures that the blood thinners and a weak point somewhere caused the bleeding. He kept me overnight Xmas Eve and my knee improved considerably. He released me XMas Day in the afternoon along with some heavy duty pain killers. Looks like it will be a slow process. Merry Christmas!!!Regards, Ross
