According to his doctors, he will never be a normal color again. This may be an unusual effect, but I for one would not take it or use it in any way. There are many other good and not so risky remedies for both pink eye, and sore throats. Guest guest
Thanks for the info, yes I'm aware of the man that turned blue. The one I saw looked a lot like papa smirf LOL! I heard it can do that to a person if you add more chemicals to the CS and if you over do it. I only plan to use this to treat the infected eye then shelve it away again. I just don't want to go to a doctor since I know what it is just to have him prescribe me some drops. that probably won't take care of the problem quickly. I took today off but I have to be at work tomorrow. I did take a few drops and it does seem to be working. If you investigate exactly what that priest consumed, in all likelihood you'll find that it was either a highly concentrated commercial silver product (hundreds or thousands of PPM) or improperly made homebrew (typically made with tap water or salt added and run long enough to make a concentrated silver soup.) To cause argyria with properly made CS at 20 PPM or less, you would have to consume such large quantities that you'd die of excess water consumption long before you could ingest enough silver to cause argyria. Properly made CS has only two ingredients: .999+ pure silver and pure steam distilled water.
Guest guest
There is a company called seagate products. They have an awesome olive leaf extract. It has all 8 antimicrobials, not just oleuopean. They make a series of creams, droplets and other products with this extract and I think eye drops are one of them. I can vouch for the efficacy of these products. And there's a buy one get one ongoing special for the capsules. The sprays and droplets are reasonably priced. Good luck! Jules. Guest guest
I have used homemade CS (probably varying 5-15 PPM) as an eye wash/flush/spray/drops for years. Often 2-3 times daily for weeks at a time. I was using it for serious dry eye problems brought on from 30 years working in and around Kraft Pulpmill chemical and bleaching departments. I have never had pink eye and since using CS have never had another sty. The real solution to my dry eyes was when I strated using drops of VCO and within a few weeks I was able to reduce it to a one drop application every 3-4 days. Guest guest
Having poor kind of CS would make you turn blue. CS made of 99.99% silver and distilled water does not pose a danger. Many even drink it in big amounts and have no problem, and yet heal. If the person that turned blue would take selenium, his color would come back over time -- a long time though. The dangerous ones are those where salts are added or other elements. Be a member of the silverlist group. They have a wealth of info there not only on silver but othe things. > > Don: > I'm no authority on CS, but I can tell you that our parish priest virtually turned blue using it and has since been diagnosed with serious metal toxicity. Guest guest
Doug, you mentioned clearing up dry eye problem with coco. oil? Is that straight coco. oil---just drops in eye? Does it cloud your vision, how many times a day did you use it at first...? I'm interested, as I get older eyes get drier and last year or so I've had to use dry-eye drops every night and would be wonderful if I could reverse it.... Guest guest
Hi Margaret My problem was waking up in the morning and my eyelids were stuck to the eyeball as if it was super glue and the only way that I could ge them open was gently massaging them until I had produced enough tears to disolve the glue.Often it would take up to an hour and the pain was horrendous. I tried (using an eyewash cup)DW,Saline (.9%), CS before sleeping. As I progressed the CS was the most effective but nowhere to my satisfaction. I have been using VCO for nearly 10 years, trying many different ways. I decided to grab the bull by the horns, so to say. I really only have one fully functioning eye. Have had a very serious lazy eye all my life as it was not diagnosed until I was 12 and the brain had accepted and compensated for the problem. Amazingly there is no visual indication, others looking at me, that I function basically with one eye and both speed and depth perception a extraordinarily good. The dry eye problem was equal in both eyes. So I decided to try 1 drop of VCO in my bad eye. when I dropped it in there was absolutely no feeling sensation other than that of the presence of the oily liquid. The next morning there was virtually no sticking or pain in that eye. That was enough so9 the next night I put 2 drops in each eye. In the morning I could hardly believe that they opened normally, however I found that I had to flush away the oil slick before I could focus enough to read. Next night I used 3 drops in each eye and continued for a couple of weeks. then I cut back to 1 drop for a couple of weeks. then I started skipping a day now and then and then a couple and then 3 days. Now I put in 1 drop probably on an average of twice a week. I have noticed when I changed VCO brands that a couple of the non centrifuged oils (purchased in Hong Kong) tended to sting a bit when I put it in. Most of the better quality oils that I have used have absolutely to stinging sensation. I am 70 and only use 1.25 reading glasses that I buy in the street market (US$3) for reading small print and under poorer light conditions and when using the computer. The focal length is right fore me to sit back 36-44 inches from my 15 inch notebood screen. My eye doctor, whoom I went to see a couple of years ago was amazed at my eyes. He immediately noticed that I had had open eye surgery to have a severely detached retna repaired. That was my good eye, result of an industial accident. Six months after surgery I had 20/20 vision in that eye, tested Aug 76. This (2008)was the first time I had my eyes checked since then, over 32 years. At the end of the check up he said " I don't really know what you are doing, but keep doing it because I can't even recommend that you get a pair of perscription glasses " He had never even mentioned cataracts so I asked him about them He said the the minor development was at about the level he normally sees in a 35-40 year old. So I guess I will just continue living as I am. Cheers, Doug Re: Treating Pink eye with Colliodal Silver Doug, you mentioned clearing up dry eye problem with coco. oil? Guest guest
Doug-Greetings from another " functionally blind " in one eye person! I don't have binocular vision at close distances, but my depth perception is very off-I think I'm WAY close to things (cars) when in reality, I'm about 3-4 feet away; makes for fun parking. Do I understand you to say that you put VCO in your eyes? Does this help with vision, or just your dry eye problem? Thanks, Laurie ________________________________ From: Murray <doublaswalter@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Sat, March 6, 2010 3:40:26 PM Subject: Re: Re: Treating Pink eye with Colliodal Silver Hi Margaret My problem was waking up in the morning and my eyelids were stuck to the eyeball as if it was super glue and the only way that I could ge them open was gently massaging them until I had produced enough tears to disolve the glue.Often it would take up to an hour and the pain was horrendous.
