Guest guest
That gets me to thinking that someone told me she boils the shells and drinks the water, strained, for her back pain. So this is doubly worth a try. Also, DMSO is a real panacea that I have just come across. It can be bought at a farmers supply store if you have one near you. Just drop this on the painful place and rub it in. I mix it with an oil like coconut or olive oil because it will dehydrate the skin so you want to replace that oil. I have been taking it internally myself. It helps a myriad of things. It's like the best multi-vitamin you could take. It also has a smell to it, so there are some things that are good to quell that smell. Coconut oil is one but you have to take it together each time. But that can only be good for you. ________________________________ From: jetpostman <jetpostman@...> Â Nerio I used to get migraine headaches. Lots of raw chicken eggs seems to be what got them to end for me. Might get your girfriend to try eating lots of raw chicken eggs. Don't know if thats what she needs but probally would not hurt to try. Nick
Guest guest
It's probably to treat a yin deficiency. Sometimes when yin becomes deficient, the yang is unbalanced, and so it tends to rise to the head, creating other symptoms like headaches. There are some great formulas for this, depending upon your individual pattern diagnosis. One thing you can do is take black sesame. Organic is much better. 1-3 tablespoons, covered in an inch of water. Boil for 10 minutes, then allow to cool. Eat the seeds, drink the water. Doesn't taste bad either. Nutty flavor to it. Do that every morning. I can recommend alot more foods too. I went to the feed store to get the DMSO to give to my dogs but no one there knows more about it than to give it to horses. (I think it was horses, might have been cows. Certainly wasn't for dogs.) So for the last few weeks it's just been sitting on my counter waiting for me to do something with it. How much do I give per pound of weight? I read lots of stuff here that I try to implement into my family but my husband is very resistant and if he says anything in ear shot of the kids, they side with him. I even bought *Diatomaceous Earth *to add to our food to get rid of any internal parasites we might have and although I don't know how much to us per dish or drink or whatever, the first thing my husband did was to turn his nose up at it. So the kids did too. On the other hand, my dogs don't seem to mind it at all. Good thing since the smallest size we could find was 25# and my grandson thought it was to play with and tossed most of it all over the cement floor of our garage. I swept it up and the dogs get the benefit of it. By the way, someone suggested putting it on the dogs to prevent the fleas and although my Maltese became grey instead of white, it didn't seem to help. At first I thought that she was just scratching because of the itch but 2 days later she still had fleas. How does a human take the DMSO internally? I could use something better than a multi-vitamin. If you use it on your skin to ease pain, will it - along with oil - help the looks of scars? I have flea bite scars and they last about 3 years at a time. Guest guest
Sylvia, You need to do some (more?) homework on the things you're incorporating into your health maintenance. Just google DE to find a number of websites from which you can find dosage and frequency. Don't inhale DE dust. It can do irreparable damage to the lungs. Be more careful. To comment on your DE experience, I took DE for quite a few months and it did not seem to help me at all. I do not have pets, so have never tried it for fleas or anything else. I was all prepared if I would have an ant problem like I did last year. But for some reason, they did not show up this year. At least not yet. As for the DMSO, I don't think there is a drop-per-pound ratio with this. I have taken drops and I have taken droppers and when I took the droppers, that is when I got the results. The smell seems to be the biggest issue with this but I believe I have won. I will give it more time to be sure, tho. I took two weeks off because of the smell, so I am just getting back into DMSO with my anti-stink remedies this week. I sure hope your husband comes along with you soon. We all have had to come to the understanding that we have to keep trying things that won't work until we find what will, since our doctors and school health classes never looked into keeping us healthy with natural cures. I have been on this road for 4 years and not everything I have tried has helped me, but several things have. You just have to keep trying and learning. If we don't do it for ourselves, no one else will.
Guest guest
Blend raw eggs with lemon or lime. Amazing and tasty. See if she can take them that way. Or blend them into a fruit smoothie with whey, fruit, nuts or seeds, a little stevia or palm sugar and the like. They totally disappear in a blender drink. ________________________________ From: Nerio DeLeon <nerio@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2011 7:48 PM Subject: Re: bad miragrine headaches  Thanks Nick, I will try. Guest guest
Hi, I used to get terrible migraines followed by violent vomiting. Took a lot of painkillers. I would bring painkillers at all times in case of attacks. 3-4 years back, someone recommended me to go for a massage for a twisted neck. This is chinese massage. It normally includes massaging the whole body including the head and face to improve blood circulation. After about 3 weekly visits, the improvement was obvious i.e., I do not have to reach for painkillers anymore. After that I keep up with one visits per month and then later after 2 months etc. for maintenance. Now I hardly touch the painkillers. See if you can find a massage of some form to the neck, head area which should help greatly. Good luck. Ruth > > Nerio > > I used to get migraine headaches. Guest guest
For fleas you might try a capful of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar [with the mother] in your dogs drinking water. It works for mine.. I had been giving into them for sometime when they picked up fleas at a vet office.. the fleas came home with us and were dead and gone within a few days. I think I might have been the only one that got bit... Guest guest
Nerio It only took about two weeks of eating mostly just raw eggs for the headaches to quit. If She doesn't like them raw maybe she could try cooking them sunny side up leaving just the yoke slightly raw. Might work like that. nick
Guest guest
Migraines are not one thing. There are many kinds. The term means " One Sided " . So if you have a one sided headache, there are many possible problems and many possible cures. However, if you happen to have " Classic Migraine " , which is characterized at onset by fingers and hands going numb which work their way up to the head, blind spots, and extreme nausea, you have the variety that mainly affects men. These attacks can be fatal on occasion. Sometimes, even if they are not, you wish that they were. Having had the problem for almost sixty years, I have learned some things about it: There is no mainstream cure or treatment for it... at all... period, no matter what you may otherwise be told by big pharma. Massages are not going to make any difference. Contrary to what one would ever consider doing, extreme exercise that causes a very high heart rate alleviates the symptoms, at least to some degree. It is possible to alleviate the symptoms by going into a trace state... did it once. MegaHydrate relieves the symptoms and will stop and attack and is somewhat effective on a daily basis. Ubiquino supplementation on a daily basis is a very effective, long term deterrent. Regards, Jim Hi Ruth, Thanks for that massage tip, when she gets a regular massage, they seem to help in prevention. Unfortunately she travels a lot on business, its hard to get her in one place for three weeks. Her migraines were like yours, intense, followed by violent vomiting. She has been dealing with these since childhood, and has gone through the gamut of remedies and fixes. Thanks again, Nerio 3-4 years back, someone recommended me to go for a massage for a twisted neck. This is chinese massage. It normally includes massaging the whole body including the head and face to improve blood circulation.
Guest guest
Some times a more comfortable bed can be helpful, There are special formed sponges, that can be placed between the legs at the knees to help prevent blockage of blood circulation in the knees, legs, lower back and hips. These sponges can also be used to separate the arm pressurs points when lying on one side or the other. A regular steady diet of six to eight teaspoons of coconut oil daily will help repair any brain damage, over a period of two to three months. The headaches will return if you miss your dose of coconut oil.. I purchased my sponge shapes from my local chiropractor several years ago. Any brand of coconut oil will do the job. I'am Irish and I use coconut oil from India PARACHUTE. Bernard _cn
