Guest guest
Hi Liz: Why would you believe that someone else has a better handle on what you need than yourself? I certainly don't. Guest guest
useless response Liz, maybe you can tell the group what your health goals are, any health conditions/concerns, and any medications you may be on - if you are comfortable in doing so - to get some guidance. thanks elaine > > > > Hey Group, > > I took my first tablespoon of coconut oil this morning. Guest guest
Thanks for comments Elaine and Joe.  I basically would like to lose about 40 pounds and not take any medication prescribed by doctors.  I do take a lisinopril 10 mg. Other than that I don't have any specific health goals.  I think a multi vitamin is a good start and Vita C. I feel comfortable keeping both of those on my list of supplements For a female I take calcium-1200 mg plus 1000 IU vita D3 plus and additional 1000 D3 Does anyone think I am taking to much D3? and photoEstrogen I am gonna add the tablespoon of Coconut oil-one in the morning, one at night. At my last blood test my liver function test were high-I wondered if it could possibly be related to the Vitamin D. Maybe there is no connection. I have basic aches and pains like everyone my age of 52-I try to fight those by excerise and just to keep moving. Really I feel pretty lucky after I record it on the page. Liz  ________________________________ From: elaine1231 <elaine1231@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Thu, December 2, 2010 12:07:28 AM Subject: Re: Ravi's info about coconuts  useless response Liz, maybe you can tell the group what your health goals are, any health conditions/concerns, and any medications you may be on - if you are comfortable in doing so - to get some guidance. thanks elaine > > > > Hey Group, > > I took my first tablespoon of coconut oil this morning. Guest guest
Hi Liz: While it may make you feel better to believe it, aches and pains are not normal at any age. Arthritis is not normal. If you accept that, you loose. You are actually taking too little D3. 5000 iu is correct in winter in temperate zones. Stop the calcium supplementation and concentrate on magnesium... both transdermal and oral. Multivitamins are generally poor quality and often do more harm than good. For a high quality multi to do any good you must take six a day... why? Because if they are food grade it takes a lot of food to do any good. Look at Dr. Mercola's latest advice on exercise, take Whey Isolates, and don't eat any prepared food or snacks and your weight will return to normal. Taking estrogen will not fly. No one here will go along with that one. Maybe DHEA or Pregnenolone...
