it sounds like you aren't on enough HC--it should be taken 4X a day (5mg

to start).

Hi Sherie:

Two level teaspoons does not sound like enough to do much of anything, period.

Think of it like this: if you ate two level teaspoons of powdered spinach during

a meal would that cause insomnia? I doubt it and I doubt that you would

knowingly experience any other effects, but it would still be a good thing.

When you get up to a therapeutic dose of two heaping tablespoons a day, then you

might actually be able to see some strong effects. But chances are that they

will all be good ones... like fingernails and hair growing faster and

stronger... and strong, flexible joints that you no longer even think about...

and lower blood pressure... and pliable arteries and veins. Anything dealing

with connective tissue just gets better.

Source Naturals is an expensive way to go if price is a concern. I see that

Vitacost sells it for $25.49 for 35 oz, many more times more what I'd be willing

to pay for it. I bought mine for about $25/ kilogram. When it is that cheap you

don't try to conserve so much, but it is a good idea to keep building up to

higher doses. It will release bound up heavy metals and you don't want to flood

your system with them.

Think about what else has changed to cause the problem and maybe consider

melatonin if you can't pin it down. MSM is one of the most important supplements

that I have ever come across and is at the top of my success list. I wish you

success in taking it.

Cheers, Jim

Any new supplement (or any other addition) that has the potential of

increasing one's energy has the potential of interfering with sleep.

Sherie, no, it's probably the Isocort that is overstimulating you. I've got a

fair bit of experience with MSM and DMSO and I haven't run across the complaint

in that context.

Low thyroid and higher stress hormones may be a sign of chronic bowel issues,

called dysbiosis. WHen dysbiosis is reversed the " stressed " adrenals are found

to actually produce adequate hormones for a non-stressed person. Thyroid can be

impaired by chronic toxinload, and improves as the toxin load is reduced.

The biggest biological support against rising toxin load is undenatured whey and

selenium, which are glutathione creators, and the best bowel support to create

fewer toxins to deal with in the first pace is inulin. This is often overlooked,

even by Dr. and Elaine Gottschall followers, who attempt to cure people

without attending to bowel culture and by suppressing the most important fiber

and most important antioxidant.

all good,

Duncan

MSM shouldn't be taken to close to bedtime if you don't want to sleep. It

promotes circulation. I try to take mine in the morning but dinnertime works

for me and my husband.

This makes littles sense to me. MSM is sulfur, it's nothing like a stimulant. I

do not think it could do anything to sleep what so ever.

It's not that it's a stimulant, but that it can have an energizing effect

on the body and if someone is not used to that feeling, that can disturb

sleep.
