Guest guest
My surgeon has decided not to use the anterior approach for a variety of reasons so I'm not sure how flexible I will be But thanks for your response Jackie Re: right side replacement Jackie, I am 58 and just had my right side done two weeks ago using the anterior approach. I have used a plastic toilet riser, which works fine. I have a few chairs with towels on them to make them taller when I sit, but because on the anterior approach, I can bend over 90 degrees. I use my good leg and a cane when I get up, but really don't need the cane anymore. So I am not sure a lift chair is needed. I rented a walker for a month, but got rid of it after the first day home and started using a cane.
