My surgeon has decided not to use the anterior approach for a variety of reasons

so I'm not sure how flexible I will be

But thanks for your response

I am 58 and just had my right side done two weeks ago using the anterior

approach. I have used a plastic toilet riser, which works fine. I have a few

chairs with towels on them to make them taller when I sit, but because on the

anterior approach, I can bend over 90 degrees. I use my good leg and a cane when

I get up, but really don't need the cane anymore. So I am not sure a lift chair

is needed. I rented a walker for a month, but got rid of it after the first day

home and started using a cane.
