Hi Bonnie:

I just came across BioSil two days ago and, of course, wondered if I should try

it. My problem is hair loss for the last 5 years. I have tried many natural

routes.  No none have stopped it, only slowed it down. And none have regrown

any

in all this time, it just keeps falling out and it is officially very thin

now.

I know purity is an issue with anything we put in or on our bodies and it

grieves me that I have to be the one to cover my butt for everything I use; I

can't just trust anyone's brand. So it may be that purity was not there with

each thing I tried.  One thing I have been using for months and am staying with

is FoTi.  But then again, the question is, is the purity there?  I do not know

how to find that out. I may be just wasting my money on the brand I am using of

FoTi.  Use has been about 4 months for this. I am also taking coral

calcium/magnesium/D, among other whole foods.

So can you recommend this expensive BioSil to do what I need?  What exactly

does

it do?

The most BIO-AVAILABEL Silica is called BioSil here in Canada made by JARROW

in California and in the US, I think it is called JarrowSil or something

similar.

It works on hair, skin, nails, bone, connective tissue, the inner lining of

the ARTERY called the Tunica Intima and I've seen it work GREAT within 2

weeks.

I've been taking horsetail powder, 1 tsp every morning on a full stomach for a

almost a week now. When i read your post, i looked at my varicose veins, and i

am so surprised they are hardly noticeable now. Will let you know if it

disappears completely.

I have kept your post for future reference. I have actually seen reference to

horsetail for hair when I did searches for hair loss on an online supplement

site.  But I don't know how to look further into horsetail for its benefit

toward other health issues.

I have taken two different bottled supplements for hair since last Oct and

nothing has regrown any, they only halted or slowed the hair loss. So, since I

put my posts up on here to my " remaining health needs, " (t.i.c.) I have gotten a

few suggestions and I jumped at the choice to start one suggestion of

diatomaceous earth. The price is more reachable for me, and the feature that it

kills parasites is very appealing to me, because candida, yeast and parasites

is

what I have been fighting hard for three years. I  found coconut oil on month

ago and have included that in my regimen and scaled back or quit some of what

I

had been doing in the past years. This is quite a journey!

It is my fourth day with DE and I knew it was working the first morning after

the initial dose. So, with continued use, I hope this and the VCO do what I

have

been needing to have done.

You can let me know if your veins disappear. I am watching to see if mine

disappear with my newly acquired efforts.  At least they have never hurt.

Others

have said vericose veins can be painful.

Lyn,

Apply some of the coocnut oil on your scalp as well. In Asia this is used for

hair and scalp treatment. It stops falling hair and helps in its regrowth. I

want to point out that horsetail is not to be taken for long term use. It can do

irreversible damage to the kidney or liver (i can't remember now). I also took

biosil. I remember it making my nails and hair grow faster. Oat straw also

contains silica.

Take care. Hope you hair thickens. Did you have your thyroid checked? This is

one cause of falling hair.

Hi

How do you suggest applying VCO to the scalp? I tried by finger combing my

scalp

once after a shower, but the result was oily, so I washed it again in a couple

hours. I have not tried it since because I do not know how else to do it. If I

use it daily, I don't want an oily look that I will have to wash out daily.

That

is--not unless it will really help me. I've only washed my hair twice a week for

several years. Maybe I just tried too much that first time. I don't know.
