Guest guest
In Dr. Fife's book Coconut Oil Miracle it is stated that various health organizations recommend we get 30% of our daily calories from fat and only 12% from protein. Am I reading that right? I'm new to the coconut oil regimen and am very excited about it. Thank you.
Guest guest
I am diabetic so I eat minimal carbs. I suspect I get more than 30% of my calories from fat because I keep my carbs so low. Guest guest
Last spring, when I was leaning out by counting calories on fitday.com, I was probably eating more carbs than you (80-120 grams per day), and fat was making up 50-60% of my caloric intake. I bet if you were to track your diet on fitday for a couple days, you'd find that fat makes up more than 60% of your diet. > > In Dr. Fife's book Coconut Oil Miracle it is stated that various health > > organizations recommend we get 30% of our daily calories from fat and > > only 12% from protein.
