Diatomaceous Earth works in a similar manner to powdered Zeolites. Zeolites,

however, have a more regular pore structure which makes them extremely effective

in absorbing heavy metals and cancer causing chemicals. While Diatomaceous Earth

is probably not as good as zeolites for this, it may be a bit easier to ingest,

since taking zeolites is like trying to eat sand. Neither is a true chelate in

my understanding of the term. If you are in need of silicone as a dietary

source, a plant sourced silicone would undoubtedly be more easily absorbed and

thus more effective. Zeolites were proven to be effective cancer fighters in a

University of Michigan study a few years back. I verified that to be true when

it got rid a lump the size of a golf ball on my dog after about two weeks of

treatment. He did not mind having sand in his mouth when it was wrapped in meat.

Both are very inexpensive as others have said, but purity would be an issue.
